I recently treated myself to a 5-day stopover in San Francisco as I was traveling to Alaska for a wedding. As my plane touched the Californian ground, San Francisco was already in full-on celebration mode. ►►►
It is now confirmed: I attend two music festivals in Montreal next weekend. Since I can’t – yet! – travel all the time, I thought it would be a good idea to give more visibility to events happening here, in Montreal. ►►►
During my recent visit to San Francisco, I stayed at the Pacific Tradewinds Hostel. I spent 5 days – and as many nights – in this hostel, upon the owner’s invitation. ►►►

If you are a fan of enamel / lapel pins and patches, maybe you’ve heard of Pin Patch Mtl. (If you haven’t, well here’s your luck!) The event was organized by Montreal-based pin and patch maker Manière Noire. It took place on Saturday, May 19, at La Gare, in the Mile-End neighbourhood. ►►►
On the long weekend of May 18-20, Montreal was in Pouzza Fest mode! Over 175 bands from all over Canada and the US, but also bands from the UK, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Northern Ireland and Sweden gathered downtown Montreal for a weekend of punk – and ska, and punk rock, and more! – music. ►►►
I spent the weekend of May 4-6 at the Fairmount Château Frontenac in Québec City to attend the 2018 Women In Travel Summit (WITS). Picture that: over 400 women evolving in the travel sphere gathered in the most photographed hotel in the world! ►►►
