Though it goes a bit against my backpacker “instincts” to pack very flashy things to wear, in order to be able to mix and match all (or nearly all!) my items of clothing, this one comes as a complete surprise! (I also hate to be too visible while away to avoid drawing unwanted attention.) ►►►

Do I have to remind you how excited I was – as most plus-size women – that this collection was finally made available to Canadian ladies… yay!

Though I never cheap on the amount of underwear and socks I need for the trip (they are generally quick to wash and air dry), I’m always looking to find ways to diminish the amount of clothing I carry along on a trip. ►►►
While looking for comfortable clothing made out of some of those quick-dry, lightweight, magical technical fabric, I fell upon the website of MiOwear.com. ►►►
It is after whining to my friend LP about the lack of technical fabric-made apparel in plus sizes that he told me that there was a store on St. Laurent (Montreal’s main street) around Laurier, in the Mile-End, that caters to plus-size women sports apparel needs. ►►►
